Payment terms
Weekend tours and retreats:

For weekend tours and retreats the full payment is paid by booking, and the payment is non-refundable.
​
Multi-day tours:
​
Confirmation fee of 50% must be paid at time of booking and full payment must be made 9 weeks prior to departure.
When booking less than 9 weeks prior to hike a 100% payment must be made.

Cancellation Charges
​
If clients formally cancel their participation:

15 % of the tour price is non-refundable.

50% of the tour price is charged if cancelling is 30-59 days prior to departure.

75% of the tour price is charged if cancelling is 16-29 days prior to departure.

100% of the tour price is charged if canelled with less than 16 days notice.

All cancellations must be made by letter or e-mail.

Pick Up Services and Meeting Times
​
Soulhike offers tours with pick-up services from Reykjavik and Copenhagen Airport. Pick up locations may differ between tour reservations; it is the customers' responsibility to review and verify pick up information and meeting times. Customers are responsible for their own pick-up and must be at the tour meeting point on time. Soulhike reserves the right to change the meeting point of the tour. Missing the pick-up does not entitle you to a refund of the paid services. Meeting information is provided on vouchers/booking confirmations and is the customers' responsibility to review and verify. If you do not arrive at the correct meeting point at the correct time, resulting in a missed tour, this will not entitle you to a refund for the paid services. Additional charges may be applied to your reservation to ensure you re-join the group.

Insurance
Safety is our #1 priority. While we do our very best to ensure that everyone on tour with us has a safe experience, there is still a possibility that an accident can occur that may require medical attention. We are ind the wild. Our guides have taken Wilderness first Responder certificate and are highly trained in keeping safety. But we advise that all our clients have insurance that includes rescue. Travel insurance are not included in our tour price and it is the client's own responsibility to know how their insurance cover any medical costs of the journey.

Prior to departure, the client is asked to sign a "Letter of consent". You can read it here.

Special conditions
Soulhike reserves the right to alter tours and itineraries due to weather or road conditions. All programs can be changed or cancelled at any moment during the trip to assure the safety of the clients and staff. Clients take full responsibility for meeting the physical fitness level requirement of the trip. Clients that are physically unfit or not equipped for their tour can be dismissed from the tour at their own expense. No responsibility is accepted for losses or expenses due to delays, changes of flights or other services, as well as because of strikes, accidents, sickness, damage, negligence, weather, war, changes in schedules, or other similar causes. Soulhike does not assume responsibility for accidents or death that can be traced to the participant´s negligence, acts of third parties or exterior circumstances, such as weather, natural occurrences, war or other similar causes.
